Swiftwater, PA — The Easton High School Baseball Team traveled to Pocono Mt. East and returned home to Easton with a 9 - 5 Varsity Baseball win. Zach Mattes threw 5 complete innings of 1 earned run baseball. Zach surrendered 4 hits striking out 6 and walking 2 Pocono Mt. East batters. Nolan Stem and Rowan Galiotto got the last 6 outs of vthe ball game with Galiotto recording the save. Offensively the Rovers were lead by Nolan Fuller who was 3 for 4 and picked up an RBI, Mason Stout who was 2 for 2 collecting 2 RBI, Cole Ordway was 2 for 4 and Kham Singto as well as Kurtis Crossman both doubled and knocked in a run. Thhe Rovers will next be in action on Monday at home against the Liberty Hurricanes.
