Santa Ana, CA — A slow start on offense of the first game of the double header against Segerstrom allowed the Jaguars to stay confident, but good defense and quality pitching kept the Lady Knights in control of the game. Sam Polowski's two out home run in the top of the third got the Knights on the scoreboard, but it was the quality at-bats in the 5th and 6th innings that led to 6 more runs scoring. In those two innings the Lady Knights combined for 5 walks, 5 singles, and 3 sacrifice bunts.
