San Diego, CA — On Wednesday afternoon, the Varsity Lancer Boys Golf squad went on the road to take on the Cathedral Catholic Dons at the challenging Grand Golf Club in Del Mar. The Grand GC has been tough for the Lancers over the past few visits, but on Wednesday, the Varsity linksmen had it figured out, shooting a team score of 183 (3 over par) to the host Dons 195. This was the second match in as many days between two of the top Boys Golf teams in the highly competitive CIF San Diego Section. Three Lancers shot even par 36: Kenyon Kahler, Kaden Chang and Thomas Browning This win wraps up a very successful week for the Lancer Varsity squad - for 36 holes, they scored a team combined 2 over par! (for the 5 counting scores).
