Oceanside, CA — The Lancer JV Boys Golf team played on Thursday afternoon at Goat Hill Park GC in Oceanside against the Mavericks of La Costa Canyon HS. Much better results for the Lancers on Thursday, earning the WIN with a team score of 193 to 203 for the visiting Mavericks. This was a much better result than their first match last week at Rancho Carlsbad GC, when LCC dominated. Redemption! Medalist for the match was sophomore Bennett Girsch, with a 1 under par score of 30 on the front 9 at Goat Hill. Bennett also had the "Shot of the Day", with a skillful chip in for birdie on the treacherous par 3 6th hole at "The Goat". The Lancer JV squad heads into next week on a three match winning streak!
