White House, TN — Station Camp Varsity Bison could not keep pace with White House Varsity Blue Devils 9-4 on Monday. The Bison were the first to get on the board in the first when Jaxzon Miller doubled, scoring two runs. In the bottom of the second inning, White House Varsity Blue Devils went back into the lead after Braden Jandera singled to center field, and TJ Hardcastle singled down the left field line, each scoring one run. Station Camp took the lead in the top of the third. Easton Biggs induced Jaxzon Miller to hit into a fielder's choice, but two runs scored, to give the Bison the leg up, 4-3. Koleman Holmes singled down the left field line, which helped White House tie the game at four in the bottom of the third. A home run to left field by Jake Soporowski gave the Blue Devils the lead, 6-4, in the bottom of the fourth. Easton Biggs earned the win for White House Varsity Blue Devils. The pitcher surrendered eight hits and four runs (three earned) over seven innings, striking out eight and walking none. Colton Lowery took the loss for Station Camp. The right-handed pitcher went five innings, surrendering six runs (five earned) on nine hits, striking out six and walking two. Nate Parsons and Isaac Weeks were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Station Camp Varsity Bison while hitting back-to-back. Jaxzon Miller drove the middle of the lineup, leading Station Camp Varsity Bison with three runs batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Station Camp Varsity Bison play at home on Tuesday against White House in their next game.
