Gallatin, TN — Both teams were strong on the mound on Tuesday, but White House Varsity Blue Devils was just a little bit stronger at the plate in their 3-2 victory over Station Camp Varsity Bison. Nate Parsons started the game for Station Camp Varsity Bison and recorded 18 outs. Station Camp was right in it until White House sacrifice bunted in the sixth inning. The Bison were the first to get on the board in the first when an error scored one run. Braden Jandera grounded out, which helped the Blue Devils tie the game at one in the top of the third. A single by Joseph Taylor gave White House the lead, 2-1, in the top of the fourth. Jaxzon Miller doubled to center field, which helped Station Camp tie the game at two in the bottom of the fourth. Joseph Taylor earned the win for White House Varsity Blue Devils. The pitcher allowed four hits and two runs (one earned) over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking one. Nate Parsons took the loss for Station Camp Varsity Bison. The righty went six innings, allowing three runs on six hits, striking out nine and walking one. Jaxzon Miller went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Nate Parsons led Station Camp with two hits in three at bats. Alex Brown, Braden Jandera, and Joseph Taylor each drove in one run for White House Varsity Blue Devils. Jake Soporowski led White House with two hits in three at bats.
