San Bernardino, CA — Adrian Quintana collected three hits in four at bats, as Miller Varsity Rebels defeated Indian Springs 18-0 on Monday. Quintana singled in the first inning, and singled twice in the second inning. Miller Varsity Rebels won thanks in part to 12 runs in the second inning. David Trujillo was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Ilya Ridge singled, scoring two runs, Quintana singled, scoring one run, Raphael Sotello was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Elian Salas drew a walk, scoring one run, Angel Lopez was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Giovanni Aguilar singled, scoring two runs, Trujillo drew a walk, scoring one run, and Michael Castillo singled, scoring two runs. Miller Varsity Rebels got on the board in the first inning after Liam Good doubled, scoring one run. Miller Varsity Rebels scored five runs on three hits in the top of the fourth inning. #1 induced Salas to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Lopez tripled, scoring three runs, and Tyler Vazquez singled, scoring one run.
