Moreno Valley scored nine runs in the second inning, which helped them defeat Miller Varsity Rebels 10-0 on Saturday.
Moreno Valley got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after #11 singled, scoring one run, #7 singled, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, #10 hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, #3 lined out, scoring one run, #32 tripled, scoring one run, and #4 singled, scoring two runs.
#2 earned the win for Moreno Valley. The hurler gave up one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out two and walking none. Dylan Hernandez took the loss for Miller Varsity Rebels. The starting pitcher went one and two-thirds innings, allowing nine runs (three earned) on seven hits, striking out one and walking one.
