Granite Hills got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Travon Jackson singled, scoring two runs, Ricardo Guiterrez singled, scoring two runs, an error scored two runs, and Kaleb Kutz singled, scoring one run. A single by #44 extended the Granite Hills lead to 8-1 in the bottom of the second inning. An error, and a single by Jackson helped Granite Hills extend their early lead in the third. Liam Good stepped on the mound first for Miller Varsity Rebels. The right-handed pitcher gave up seven hits and eight runs (five earned) over one and two-thirds innings, striking out none and walking two. Seth Christianson opened the game for Granite Hills. The hurler gave up three hits and one run (zero earned) over five innings, striking out one and walking none. Michael Castillo led Miller Varsity Rebels with one run batted in. The infielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Tyler Vazquez and Elian Salas each collected one hit for Miller Varsity Rebels. Granite Hills collected 10 hits in the game. Jackson, Kutz, and Brody Reeves each collected two hits for Granite Hills. Jackson went 2-for-3 at the plate and led the team with four runs batted in. Jackson stole two bases.
