Menifee, CA — Menifee Wildcats and Bella Vista Middle School 8th Grade played to a 3-3 tie on Monday. Bella Vista Middle School 8th Grade tied the game on a single in the fifth inning. Menifee Wildcats racked up eight hits. Ethan Ostronic and Joey Davis all managed multiple hits for Menifee Wildcats. Davis and Ostronic each collected two hits to lead Menifee Wildcats. Bella Vista Middle School 8th Grade stole six bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Ian Smith led the way with two. Bella Vista Middle School 8th Grade was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Cayden Goebel had the most chances in the field with three.

Roy had a two out two RBI single in the bottom of the fourth to extend the lead to 3-0. He did a solid job behind the dish for 4 innings. He also had a great hustle play on a third drop strike getting the runner out at first keeping a run from scoring.

Jorge started the game on the mound and went three strong innings. He allowed no hits or runs, struck out 6 while only issuing 2 walls. He threw 38 pitches 25 for strikes. Jorge also had a great hustle play on a passed ball where he was able to chase down and tag out the runner at third.
