Collinsville, IL — Kahok Softball Final vs. East St. Louis; Collinsville 15 East St. Louis 2 The Lady Kahoks put up 8 runs in the 1st inning and never looked back in a Southwestern Conference win over the flyers. After the 8-run 1st inning, Collinsville added 3 more in the 2nd, another un in the 3rd and tacked on another 3 runs in the 4th to pull out the 5-inning win. Jr. Faith Fairchild led the charge by going 4 for 4 at the plate with a double, 3 runs scored, and 3 runs batted in while Sr. Carsyn Moad helped with an RBI triple and a run scored. Sr. Brittany Sarginson went 2 for 2 with 3 runs scored, and 2 runs batted in. Fairchild and Sophomore Lilly Paarlberg combined in the pitcher's circle with Fairchild pitching 1 inning and Paarlberg with 4. They combined to only allow 3 hits while striking out 5.
