Collinsville, IL — Kahok Softball Final vs. Breese Central; Collinsville 8 Breese Central 7 The Lady Kahoks pick up their 3rd straight win, and did so this time in extra inning walk-off fashion. Collinsville was trailing 4-0 after after the Lady Cougars put up a run in the 2nd and 3 more in the 3rd. The Lady Kahoks put up 3 of their own in the bottom of the 3rd before tying the game at 4 all with a single run in the 6th inning. The game remained tied into the 8th when Breese Central plated 3 runs in the top of the inning to take a 7-4 lead. Collinsville started their comeback with a single run to start the inning to get the game to 7-5 Lady Cougars. The Lady Kahoks then loaded the bases when Sr. Bailey Demick cleared them with a 3 RBI walk-off double to win the game 8-7. Demick went 2 for 3 with a run scored and the 3 runs batted in. Sophomore pitcher Ali Vieluf went the distance in the circle giving up 5 earned runs while striking out 8 in the win.
