Collinsville Varsity Kahoks couldn't keep up with Mascoutah and fell 18-0 on Thursday.
Mascoutah got on the board in the top of the second inning after Avery Boerm singled up the middle, Faith Moore walked, Jaila Moore singled to right field, and Kenzie Reese grounded out, each scoring one run.
Mascoutah scored seven runs on five hits in the top of the third inning. Boerm doubled, scoring two runs, Moore tripled, scoring one run, Moore singled, scoring one run, Emelia Stein drew a walk, scoring one run, and Savannah Smith doubled, scoring two runs.
Mascoutah scored seven runs on six hits in the top of the fourth inning. Carlie Dodson was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Callie Kunz singled, scoring one run, Stein doubled, scoring two runs, Avery Beer singled, scoring two runs, and Addi Seibert singled, scoring one run.
Stein earned the win for Mascoutah. The starter surrendered zero hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out eight and walking one. Addie Franklin took the loss for Collinsville Varsity Kahoks. The pitcher went one-third of an inning, allowing one run on two hits, striking out none and walking one. Ali Vieluf began the game for Collinsville Varsity Kahoks. The righty gave up nine hits and 11 runs (10 earned) over three innings, striking out one and walking six.

Smith stole two bases. Mascoutah stole six bases in the game. Mascoutah were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Smith made the most plays with five.
Collinsville Varsity Kahoks will travel to Civic Memorial for their next game on Monday.
