Ottawa, KS — After a tough loss to Louisburg, the Lady Chieftains responded in a big way last Thursday, earning a dominant 3-0 league victory over the Ottawa Cyclones. From the opening whistle, Tonganoxie took control of the match, showcasing sharp ball movement, solid defense, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Baylie Igleheart led the attack with two well-taken goals, continuing to prove herself as a dangerous presence up top. Grace Weatherford added to the tally with a composed finish, rewarding her recent stretch of strong play off the bench.
In goal, Jaylynn Sparks earned her first shutout of the season, coming up with several key saves to preserve the clean sheet and anchor a strong defensive effort.
