Alta Loma, CA — Wednesday's game against Oak Hills was a heartbreaker for Alta Loma Varsity Braves, as they lost the lead late in a 4-3 defeat. The game was tied at three in the top of the sixth when R Metzger singled, scoring one run. Alta Loma Varsity Braves got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Grant MacCharles singled down the left field line, and Oak Hills committed an error, each scoring one run. A sacrifice fly by Silas Granados extended the Alta Loma Varsity Braves lead to 3-0 in the bottom of the second inning. Oak Hills tied the game in the top of the third thanks to a single by J Webster, and a ground out by P Dufer. Dufer earned the win for Oak Hills.
