Alta Loma, CA — Glendora defeated Alta Loma Varsity Braves 11-0 on Monday thanks in part to six runs in the sixth inning.
Glendora got on the board in the third inning after Kai Zeits hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
Glendora scored six runs on five hits in the top of the sixth inning. Zeits singled, scoring one run, #20 singled, scoring one run, John Seader singled, scoring three runs, and Santiago Garza singled, scoring one run.
Braydon Johnson earned the win for Glendora. The starting pitcher allowed one hit and zero runs over six innings, striking out seven and walking three. Jake Zandbergen took the loss for Alta Loma Varsity Braves. The hurler went four innings, giving up two runs on six hits, striking out none and walking two.
Silas Granados and Wyatt Snook each collected one hit for Alta Loma Varsity Braves.
Glendora amassed 14 hits in the game. Aiden Yamazaki, Garza, Zeits, and Seader each collected two hits for Glendora. #13 went 1-for-1 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Glendora were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Diego Garza had the most chances in the field with seven.
