Zandbergen allowed three hits and two runs over seven innings while walking none. The pitching was strong on both sides. Alta Loma Varsity Braves pitchers struck out 17, while Lincoln sat down four. Alta Loma Varsity Braves got on the board in the first inning after Vincent Cantu singled, scoring one run. Alex Olbeter scored after tagging up, which helped Lincoln tie the game at one in the top of the third.
