Alta Loma Varsity Braves got on the board in the top of the fifth inning after Michael Hamilton walked, and Cody Primanto singled down the right field line, each scoring one run. Yorba Linda tied the game up in the bottom of the fifth thanks to two singles. Yorba Linda tied the game at two on a single by Michael Talbott. Alta Loma Varsity Braves took the lead, 4-2, in the top of the eighth thanks to two errors. Logan Sein earned the win for Alta Loma Varsity Braves. The right-handed pitcher surrendered three hits and two runs over four innings, striking out three and walking one. Drew Parmenter took the loss for Yorba Linda.
