Alta Loma Freshmen BRAVES were the first to get on the board in the second when Julian Gonzales grounded out, scoring one run. Gomez singled to center field, which helped South Hills tie the game at one in the bottom of the second. In the bottom of the third, South Hills broke up the tie when Jacob Pimentel induced Carter to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored. Then a single by Najera followed to extend the lead to 3-1. Morales earned the win for South Hills. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and one run over seven innings, striking out five and walking two. Julian Gonzales took the loss for Alta Loma Freshmen BRAVES. The lefty went three and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits, striking out none and walking seven. Jacob Pimentel began the game for Alta Loma Freshmen BRAVES.
