San Dimas, CA — Alta Loma Varsity Braves couldn't keep up with San Dimas and fell 8-1 on Wednesday. San Dimas got on the board in the second inning after Jayden Claros hit a solo home run to center field. San Dimas added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Ashton Romero hit a sacrifice fly, Claros walked, and San Dimas scored on a passed ball, each scoring one run. Dean Brosterhouse earned the win for San Dimas. The pitcher allowed two hits and one run (zero earned) over five innings, striking out five and walking one. Grant MacCharles took the loss for Alta Loma Varsity Braves. The righty went four and two-thirds innings, surrendering seven runs (three earned) on five hits, striking out two and walking five. Cody Primanto, Jake Zandbergen, and Logan Sein each collected one hit for Alta Loma Varsity Braves. Claros, Aaden Escarcega, and Vaughn Coleman each collected two hits for San Dimas. Claros and Louis Farias each drove in two runs for San Dimas. Claros stole two bases. Alta Loma Varsity Braves will travel to Summit for their next game on Friday.
