Summit were the first to get on the board in the first when Ian Stewart singled, scoring one run.
Kody Smathers earned the win for Summit. The pitcher allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out 10 and walking none. Nathaniel Pimentel took the loss for Alta Loma Varsity Braves. The southpaw went four innings, giving up one run on five hits, striking out four and walking two.
Noah Verkaik, M Perez, Grant MacCharles, and Cole Pacheco each collected one hit for Alta Loma Varsity Braves. Alta Loma Varsity Braves turned two double plays in the game.
Summit collected 10 hits in the game. Dylan Harrison provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Summit with three runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Isaac Castanon, Mario Flores, and Harrison each collected two hits for Summit. Summit had patience at the plate, piling up six walks for the game. Stewart and Sammy Lopez led the team with two bases on balls each. Summit turned one double play in the game.
