Alta Loma, CA — Alta Loma Freshmen BRAVES Earn Walk-Off Win Over Summit Freshman Skyhawk By GameChanger Media Alta Loma Freshmen BRAVES took Friday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 10-9 walk-off victory over Summit Freshman Skyhawk. The game was tied at nine in the bottom of the seventh when Jacob Cerecerez doubled, scoring one run. Jacob Cerecerez collected three hits in four at bats in the win. Jacob Cerecerez doubled in the fourth inning, doubled in the seventh inning, and singled in the sixth inning. Summit Freshman Skyhawk got on the board in the top of the first inning after E Bravo hit a sacrifice fly, and E Garcia singled to center field, each scoring one run. Alta Loma Freshmen BRAVES made the score 4-2 in the bottom of the first after Jacob Cerecerez drew a walk, scoring one run, Mason Dzama drew a walk, scoring one run, and Kainoa Jimenez singled, scoring two runs. In the bottom of the sixth, Alta Loma Freshmen BRAVES broke up the tie when Adrian Torres drew a walk, scoring one run. Then a fielder's choice by Kainoa Jimenez followed to extend the lead to 9-6. N Aburto homered to center field, which helped Summit Freshman Skyhawk tie the game at nine in the top of the seventh. Joseph Armendariz opened the game for Alta Loma Freshmen BRAVES. The pitcher gave up nine hits and six runs (one earned) over five innings, striking out one and walking three. E Escamilla stepped on the bump first for Summit Freshman Skyhawk.
