Leo Castillo struck out four and gave up no hits and no runs
Pasadena, CA — The South Pasadena Varsity Tigers had a solid game on Tuesday, beating the Pasadena Bulldogs 7-3. There were contributions by the entire lineup both pitching and hitting.
Leo Castillo started on the bump for the Tigers, pitching three innings and giving up no hits. At the plate Charlie Vogel had two hits, two RBIs and two stolen bases. But Vogel was not the only one swinging the bat well. Aaron Kawasaki and Diego Gurfein hit doubles and Cody Robinson, Jon Bracamonte, Gabe Vogel and Phil Malatesta each had singles. Brandon Woo showed off his bunting skills, laying down a beautiful bunt in the top of the 2nd inning, and moving the runner over on a bunt in the fourth.
Charlie Vogel and Malatesta pitched the last 3 innings, giving up no hits.
