La Cañada, CA — South Pasadena Tigers lost a hard fought game with La Canada 5-0 on Friday. La Canada were the first to get on the board in the third when one run scored on another play. Bentley Lebrecque earned the win for La Canada. The hurler gave up one hit and zero runs over seven innings, striking out nine and walking none. Natalie Kan took the loss for South Pasadena Varsity Tigers. The pitcher went six innings, giving up five runs (three earned) on seven hits, striking out two and walking none. Talula Bearden led South Pasadena Varsity Tigers with one hit in two at bats. Grace Rocco led La Canada with two hits in four at bats from the leadoff position. La Canada were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Holly Hong had the most chances in the field with nine.
