South Pasadena Varsity Tigers first got on the board when Veronica Esparza induced Ava Dawson to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored. Lucia Atencio earned the win for South Pasadena Varsity Tigers. The right-handed pitcher surrendered two hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out nine and walking one. Esparza took the loss for South Gate. The pitcher went three innings, giving up three runs on two hits, striking out five and walking two. Talula Bearden led the team with three runs batted in.
