La Canada got on the board in the first inning after Grace Rocco hit a solo home run to center field. La Canada added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after South Pasadena Varsity Tigers committed an error, and Caitlin Yee walked, each scoring one run. La Canada scored two runs in the top of the seventh on a home run to center field by Rocco. Bentley Lebrecque earned the win for La Canada. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and two runs (zero earned) over four innings, striking out nine and walking none. Lucia Atencio took the loss for South Pasadena Varsity Tigers. The starter went six innings, allowing five runs (two earned) on nine hits, striking out four and walking three. Talula Bearden went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead South Pasadena Varsity Tigers in hits. Atencio, Taelyn Adams, and Brooke Zeisler each drove in one run for South Pasadena Varsity Tigers.
