South Pasadena Varsity Tigers were the first to get on the board in the first when Talula Bearden singled, scoring one run. La Canada captured the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the third after South Pasadena Varsity Tigers committed an error, and Bentley Lebrecque grounded into a fielder's choice, each scoring one run. Grace Rocco earned the win for La Canada. The pitcher gave up one hit and one run over five innings, striking out 12 and walking three.
