Show Low Junior Varsity Cougar got on the board in the first inning after Lyndie Wallentine singled, scoring one run. An inside the park home run by Gabriella Acosta gave St. Johns Junior Varsity Redskins the lead, 3-1, in the bottom of the first. Show Low Junior Varsity Cougar made the score 5-3 in the top of the second after Paysen Slone singled, scoring one run, Nelly Rawlings singled, scoring two runs, and Maizey Pulsiphrr induced Wallentine to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored. Seven more Show Low Junior Varsity Cougar runs crossed the plate in the third inning to extend the lead to 12-3.
