Show Low Junior Varsity Cougar got on the board in the first inning after Lyndie Wallentine singled, scoring one run. Show Low Junior Varsity Cougar added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Ruthie Wilhelm grounded out, and Mariah Guinn doubled down the left field line, each scoring one run. Wallentine earned the win for Show Low Junior Varsity Cougar. The righty gave up six hits and two runs (one earned) over seven innings, striking out eight and walking one. Paisley Solomon took the loss for Snowflake Junior Varsity Lobos. The starting pitcher went six innings, allowing six runs (four earned) on nine hits, striking out nine and walking four. Wilhelm went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Guinn and Nelly Rawlings each collected two hits for Show Low Junior Varsity Cougar.
