Snowflake, AZ — Show Low Varsity Cougars Fall To Snowflake After Surrendering Big Second Inning By GameChanger Media Snowflake scored eight runs in the second inning, which helped them defeat Show Low Varsity Cougars 10-0 on Tuesday. Snowflake jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Brittyn Butler singled, scoring one run, Riley Perkins doubled, scoring two runs, Kashlynn Cantrell singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Taya Schneider homered to center field, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run. Snowflake added one run in the third. Snowflake scored on a wild pitch, making the score 9-0. Cantrell earned the win for Snowflake. The starting pitcher gave up four hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out four and walking one. Aspyn Clark took the loss for Show Low Varsity Cougars. The hurler went one and two-thirds innings, allowing seven runs (three earned) on six hits, striking out three and walking one. Rylee Wyatt, Angelee Villa, Avery Ervien, and Addisyn Clark each collected one hit for Show Low Varsity Cougars. Snowflake tallied 10 hits in the game. Cantrell and Perkins were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for Snowflake. Perkins led Snowflake with three runs batted in. The second baseman went 3-for-4 on the day. Snowflake turned one double play in the game. Snowflake didn't commit a single error in the field. Graycee Skousen had the most chances in the field with five.
