Clark hit a home run to center field in the first inning, scoring three runs, and hit a sacrifice fly in the first inning, scoring one. Show Low Varsity Cougars scored 12 runs in the first inning on the way to victory. Clark homered to center field, scoring three runs, Riley Heuett singled, scoring two runs, Angelee Villa singled, scoring one run, Aspyn Clark drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Clark hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Avery Ervien hit a sacrifice fly, scoring two runs, and Villa doubled, scoring one run. Show Low Varsity Cougars added two runs in the third. Rylee Wyatt doubled to center field, making the score 14-2. Wyatt earned the win for Show Low Varsity Cougars. The starter gave up two hits and two runs (one earned) over five innings, striking out seven and walking none. K Nashio took the loss for Alchesay. The hurler went five innings, giving up 14 runs (10 earned) on 10 hits, striking out two and walking 12. Show Low Varsity Cougars piled up 10 hits in the game. Heuett, Villa, and Tatum Townsend each collected two hits for Show Low Varsity Cougars. Gracie Umphress paced Show Low Varsity Cougars with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, amassing 12 walks for the game. Townsend stole three bases. Show Low Varsity Cougars stole five bases in the game. Show Low Varsity Cougars turned one double play in the game. Peyton Parker and Tyra Gushoney were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected one hit for Alchesay.
