In the first inning, Boggs hit a grand slam to center field. Show Low Junior Varsity Cougar jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after an error scored one run, Shiloh Cisneros doubled, scoring one run, Malaia McNeil doubled, scoring one run, Ruthie Wilhelm singled, scoring one run, Paysen Slone drew a walk, scoring one run, Nelly Rawlings singled, scoring one run, and Boggs hit a grand slam to center field. Show Low Junior Varsity Cougar scored five runs on zero hits in the bottom of the second inning. Rawlings drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, and an error scored two runs. Show Low Junior Varsity Cougar scored eight runs on five hits in the bottom of the third inning.
