Huntsville, AL — By GameChanger Media Randolph Raiders Middle School and Tanner tied 13-13 on Thursday at Randolph School. Tanner opened the scoring in the first after Josiah G drew a walk, scoring one run. Tanner scored five runs on four hits in the top of the third inning. An error scored two runs, and Micheal D singled, scoring two runs. Randolph Raiders Middle School took the lead, 10-8, in the bottom of the third thanks to two walks. Tanner flipped the game on its head in the top of the fourth, scoring five runs on five hits to take the lead, 13-10. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Trea M that drove in one. Jaden W stepped on the hill first for Tanner. The hurler allowed three hits and 10 runs (nine earned) over three innings, striking out four and walking 10. Tanner tallied 10 hits in the game. Number eight hitter, Hunter M, showed the depth of Tanner's lineup, by leading them with three hits in three at bats. Michael D led Tanner with three runs batted in. The leadoff hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Issiah M collected two hits for Tanner in three at bats. Tanner had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating nine walks for the game. Jaden W, Saban L, and Josiah G led the team with two free passes each.
