Payson, AZ — Addisyn Clark hit two home runs and drove in four as Show Low Varsity Cougars defeated Sunnyslope Varsity Vikings 9-0 on Friday at Payson. Clark homered in the first and third innings. Show Low Varsity Cougars scored five runs in the fifth inning on the way to victory. Avery Ervien drew a walk, scoring one run, Angelee Villa doubled, scoring two runs, and Gracie Umphress homered to right field, scoring two runs. Show Low Varsity Cougars opened the scoring in the first after Clark homered to center field, scoring two runs. Clark homered to left field, scoring two runs in the top of the third for the Show Low Varsity Cougars. Riley Heuett earned the win for Show Low Varsity Cougars. The starter allowed two hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out three and walking two. Kindness Williams took the loss for Sunnyslope Varsity Vikings.
