Hanson Chan pitched a dominant six innings
Montebello, CA — The Tiger bats remained hot on Thursday as the Schurr Spartans couldn't keep up with the offensive onslaught.
Hanson Chan started on the mound for the Tigers, giving up only one run and striking out four in a strong six-inning performance. Cody Robinson pitched a clean inning to close out the victory.
On the offensive side, the Varsity Tigers pounded out six hits, including doubles from Gabe Vogel, Leo Castillo Jr., and Charlie Vogel. Tate Mendoza, Charles Esnault, and Benjamin Regan each had singles. Charlie Vogel and Diego Gurfein had the most RBIs, with 2 and 3 respectively. The Tigers' patient approach at the plate led to eight walks.
The Tigers will take on Burroughs at home on Saturday, March 1.
