Hanson Chan stuck out four in strong start
Monrovia, CA — The South Pasadena Varsity Tigers had some strong offense against league rivals Monrovia, but ultimately lost by one run.
Pitching was strong, with Hanson Chan going 4.2 innings on the mound and Gabe Vogel finishing up the game. Together they struck out five and only gave up two earned runs.
At the plate, the Tigers did well. Jon Bracamonte hit a home run over the left field fence in the fourth inning. Diego Gurfein had two doubles, driving in two runs. Raphi Hall had two singles and Aaron Kawasaki and Leo Castillo Jr. had one single each.
