South Pasadena, CA — South Pasadena Varsity Tigers had trouble keeping up with Burroughs Varsity Bears in a 9-2 loss on Saturday.
Ben Regan took the loss for South Pasadena Varsity Tigers. The starter went five and one-third innings, allowing three hits and striking out four. Phil Malatesta came in giving up one run and striking out run. Beck Brenek closed out the last inning.
Jonathan Bracamonte provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led South Pasadena Varsity Tigers with two runs batted in. The shortstop went 2-for-3 on the day with a single and a double. Cody Robinson and Tate Mendoza contributed singles of their own.
