Redding, CA — Enterprise Junior Varsity Hornets had trouble keeping up with Shasta Junior Varsity Wolves in a 21-3 loss on Tuesday. Enterprise Junior Varsity Hornets got on the board in the top of the first inning after Komal Mehmi singled down the left field line, and Mia Luna walked, each scoring one run. Shasta Junior Varsity Wolves flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring seven runs on three hits to take the lead, 7-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Kaydin Turpen that drove in two. Shasta Junior Varsity Wolves scored eight runs on two hits in the bottom of the second inning. #32 drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Turpen was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Peyton Kirby drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored one run, a passed ball scored one run, #22 drew a walk, scoring one run, and #24 drew a walk, scoring one run.
