Zion-Benton Varsity Zee-Bees were the first to get on the board in the first when Aaden Grider singled, scoring one run. Zion-Benton Varsity Zee-Bees added one run in the second. Brayden Duran was struck by a pitch, making the score 2-0. Streamwood Varsity Streamwood Sabres Varsity jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning after Zion-Benton Varsity Zee-Bees committed an error, and Zion-Benton Varsity Zee-Bees committed an error, each scoring one run.
