Zion, IL — Jake Mitchell collected three hits in three at bats, as Zion-Benton Freshman Zee Bees defeated Vernon Hills 6-2 on Saturday at 3901 21st Street. Mitchell singled in the second inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the fifth inning. Zion-Benton Freshman Zee Bees got on the board in the first inning after Brian Wagrowski induced JJ Villalobos to hit into a fielder's choice, but two runs scored.
