West Chester, PA — The Easton Baseball Varsity team shut out the West Chester East Vikings 6-0 in an away contest on Saturday. The Rovers scored 6 runs on 8 hits. Timely hitting in the first and second innings gave the Rovers a 2 run advantage followed by 2 runs in the the 4th and 7th offensively gave Easton enough offense for the win. Cole Ordway and Mason Stout lead the Rovers with 2 hits a piece. Rowan Galiotto pitched 5 stellar innings using a mix of pitches and pin point control to keep the West Chester East offense under control to pick up the win. Junior Nolan Stem threw 2 innings of 3 up 3 down in relief. The Rovers even up their record at 1-1. The will next play Northampton High School in their Home opener for the Season.
