Oxford Varsity Wildcats got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after , Jillian Boyd singled down the right field line, and Madilynn Heller singled to the left side of the infield, each scoring one run. Adams Varsity Highlanders tied the game in the top of the third thanks to an error, and a play. In the bottom of the fifth, Oxford Varsity Wildcats broke up the tie when an error scored two runs. Then a double by Makayla Ganz followed to extend the lead to 6-3. Lilly Strauss earned the win for Oxford Varsity Wildcats. The hurler gave up seven hits and five runs (one earned) over seven innings, striking out three and walking one. Lilley Lutzka took the loss for Adams Varsity Highlanders.
