Adams Varsity Highlanders opened the scoring in the first after Olivia Viazanko grounded out, scoring one run. Chippewa Valley Varsity Big Reds flipped the game on its head in the top of the second, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 5-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Casey MetCalfe that drove in two. A single by Miley Austin, a sacrifice fly by Frankie Goodrich, and a single by Cameron Metcalfe helped Chippewa Valley Varsity Big Reds extend their early lead in the third.
