Adams Varsity Highlanders were the first to get on the board in the first when an error scored one run. Abigail Stewart doubled to center field following a 6-pitch at-bat, which helped Notre Dame Prep Varsity Irish tie the game at one in the bottom of the first. A single by Stella Phillips gave Adams Varsity Highlanders the lead, 2-1, in the top of the third.
