Myrtle beach, SC — North Hills Varsity Indians defeated Armada 13-3 on Friday thanks in part to seven runs in the second inning. North Hills Varsity Indians got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Brianna Zwick singled, scoring one run, Lily Adamski singled, scoring one run, Alexa Edmunds singled, scoring one run, Abigail Sutton doubled, scoring two runs, and Emma Culver singled, scoring two runs. North Hills Varsity Indians added one run in the third. Lily Adamski grounded out, making the score 8-0. Abigail Sutton earned the win for North Hills Varsity Indians. The starting pitcher allowed six hits and three runs over six innings, striking out five and walking six. Baley Hans pitched three and one-third innings in relief for Armada. The pitcher gave up nine hits and six runs (two earned) while, striking out two and walking two. Stephanie Clark took the loss for Armada. The pitcher went one and two-thirds innings, allowing seven runs on eight hits, striking out none and walking none. Annabelle Senecal set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading Armada with two hits in four at bats. Lauren Wallace and Annabelle Senecal each drove in one run for Armada. Stephanie Clark led Armada with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing six walks for the game. North Hills Varsity Indians collected 17 hits in the game. Lily Adamski led North Hills Varsity Indians with four runs batted in. The catcher went 3-for-4 on the day.
