Myrtle beach, SC — Armada fell 10-7 to Patrick County Varsity Cougars on Monday despite out-hitting them 12 to seven. Brooklynn Hrinkovich led Armada with three hits. Patrick County Varsity Cougars flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fourth, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 7-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Journey Moore on an 0-2 count that drove in one. Journey Moore earned the win for Patrick County Varsity Cougars. The hurler gave up eight hits and five runs (four earned) over five innings, striking out one and walking three. Stephanie Clark took the loss for Armada.
