San Juan Capistrano, CA — The @jserra.boys_tennis team capped a perfect regular season for the second straight year with an 18-0 shutout of the St. John Bosco Braves in the regular season finale at JSerra Catholic High School. The Lions finish the regular season at 15-0 overall and 10-0 in league. JSerra has now won 36 straight matches overall and 30 straight Trinity League matches. Senior Michael Aceves (6-2, 6-0, 6-1) and sophomore Kayden Kral (6-1, 6-1, 6-2) lead the way in singles action. Junior HB Warner posted wins of 6-0 and 6-2, with senior Brady Schaefgen winning his lone set 6-0. Sophomores Robert Thornton and Enzo Biundo posted 6-0 and 6-0 wins to spearhead a perfect performance for the Lions’ doubles teams. Junior Emilio Salgado and senior Charlie Vogel also claimed two sets in doubles competition, winning 6-2 and 6-1. Hudson Aase was part of three winning doubles teams that didn’t allow a point, as he teamed with junior Connor Faul to win 6-0, sophomore Riley Anson to produce a 6-0 victory, and senior Lucas Johnson to claim a 6-0 triumph.
