Lake View, SC — Armada took down Lake View 6-5 on Thursday. Armada opened the scoring in the top of the second thanks to two ground outs. Armada first got on the board when Brooklyn Hrinkovich grounded out, scoring one run. Lake View took the lead in the bottom of the fourth. PlayerE doubled, scoring two runs, to give Lake View the advantage, 3-2. Armada captured the lead, 5-4, in the top of the sixth when an error scored one run, and Sophia Loviero singled, scoring two runs. Baley Hans pitched three and one-third innings in relief for Armada. The reliever allowed two hits and one run while, striking out five and walking one. Stephanie Clark stepped in the circle first for Armada. The pitcher gave up one hit and one run (zero earned) over one and two-thirds innings, striking out none and walking one. PlayerA stepped in the circle first for Lake View.
