Florence, SC — Armada were victorious against Socastee Varsity Lady Braves 4-2 on Saturday. Socastee Varsity Lady Braves were the first to get on the board in the first when an error scored one run. Baley Hans doubled to left field, which helped Armada tie the game at one in the top of the fourth. Armada captured the lead, 4-1, in the top of the fifth after Lauren Wallace singled down the left field line, Annabelle Senecal grounded out, and Lauren Wallace scored after tagging up, each scoring one run. Kyleigh Fry earned the win for Armada. The right-handed pitcher gave up six hits and two runs (one earned) over five innings, striking out two and walking none. Jerzy Kelly took the loss for Socastee Varsity Lady Braves. The starter went five innings, surrendering four runs on three hits, striking out two and walking four. Sophia Loviero, Baley Hans, and Lauren Wallace each collected one hit for Armada. Baley Hans, Gianna Solinger, Lauren Wallace, and Annabelle Senecal each drove in one run for Armada. Rylee Minehart set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading Socastee Varsity Lady Braves with two hits in three at bats.
