Casey Mullen drove in four runs on two hits to lead Clifton Varsity Mustangs past Eastside Ghosts 19-1 on Friday. Mullen hit an inside the park home run in the first inning, scoring two runs, and tripled in the second inning, scoring two.
Clifton Varsity Mustangs won thanks in part to 11 runs in the first inning. Mullen hit an inside the park home run, scoring two runs, Jordan Kulesa tripled, scoring one run, Natasha Aviles tripled, scoring one run, Isabella Franco singled, scoring one run, Vanessa Zapata grounded out, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Josephine Zagorski singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Aviles singled, scoring one run, and an error scored one run.
A triple by Mullen, an error, and an error helped Clifton Varsity Mustangs extend their early lead in the second.

Stephanie Flete led Clifton Varsity Mustangs with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting five walks for the game. Clifton Varsity Mustangs were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Zagorski had the most chances in the field with eight.
Scarlett Delance led Eastside Ghosts with one run batted in. The shortstop went 1-for-2 on the day. Eastside Ghosts had patience at the plate, piling up five walks for the game.
